This is a plain-English summary, not a substitute for legal advice. It covers what SpendCull (spendcull.com) collects, why, and who it's shared with.
What we collect
When you use the intake form, we collect: Your bank or card statement CSV export; Description column name (optional — only if auto-detect misreads your CSV); Amount column name (optional); Date column name (optional); Anything we should know? (optional); and the email address you provide to receive your report. If you create an account, we store your email for sign-in via magic link.
How it's processed
Your submitted data is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate your report. Payment is processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details. Accounts and orders are stored in a Supabase-hosted database.
Product-specific disclaimer
SpendCull's analysis is generated by AI from the CSV data you upload. It is not financial advice, and SpendCull never accesses your bank or payment accounts. You're responsible for verifying every charge and its current status before cancelling or downgrading anything — some flagged items may reflect seasonal, annual, or team tools that are still in active use.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data. We don't request bank credentials, OAuth access to any third-party account, or anything beyond what the intake form asks for.
